Our polycarbonate products are crafted with precision and durability in mind, ensuring a superior drinking experience for our customers. We are confident in the longevity and performance of our polycarbonate drinkware, and thus, we offer a warranty against manufacturing defects if the proper usage guidelines are followed.
Cleaning Maintenance
To maintain polycarbonate drinkware, we strongly suggest using the 3 in 1 cleaner, ideal for plastic or glass. Its special formulation is the perfect way to keep your drinkware squeaky clean with long term shine and lustre, without the use of harsh chemicals.
The best thing is it can be used in your dishwasher or the sink. Regular dishwashing detergent has an abrasive silica which assists with getting food off plates however with time will start to show micro scratches on glass, porcelain and plastic making it look cloudy and lacklustre.
Washing polycarbonate drinkware in the dishwasher must be on a quick cycle and temperature must not exceed 75 degrees. Failing to do may result in the product crazing or cracking.
Long Term Maintenance Soaker
You can expect 2,000 commercial washes before it’s time to consider refreshing your polycarbonate drinkware. To rejuvenate your drinkware, we highly recommend the use of the Polycarbonate Rejuvenate Powder. This product is the bee’s-knees, simply soak your drinkware overnight, run them through the dishwasher the next morning and ta-da, all the built-up grime is gone. The Rejuvenate Powder is available in a 500gm container with a screw lid.
Mosquito Repellent Reaction Warning
Using polycarbonate drinkware around mosquito repellents containing DEET can lead to product damage.
DEET, a common active ingredient in certain brands of insect repellent, has been shown to react with plastics, including polycarbonate.
This reaction can result in the drinkware becoming discoloured, hazy, or even developing cracks. Such cosmetic and structural damage can compromise the overall quality and aesthetics of your drinkware, making it less enjoyable to use.
To maintain the integrity and appearance of your plastic polycarbonate drinkware, we advise to exercise caution and check your mosquito repellents for DEET.
